Although All Time Low have just concluded their “Back to the Future Hearts!” tour in the US, the Baltimore-born band is anything but finished with their success. On January 4th, 2016, fans and friends alike received the word that All Time Low’s hit album, Don’t Panic! has been certified silver in the United Kingdom. The 2012 album has sold 60,000 units since its release, solidifying its silver status and becoming a staple in the band’s concerts. Some of the recurring crowd favorites include “Backseat Serenade”, “Somewhere in Neverland”, and “The Irony of Choking on a Lifesaver”, which all combine to make a dynamic show with an even better sound. Although all of the band members meld together to create intricate guitar solos, unique bass melodies, and thrashing drum beats, the lyrics have made a permanent home in the hearts of All Time Low fans. While the band has clearly matured both lyrically and instrumentally, as shown in the poignancy of their most recent album, Future Hearts, the themes and sentiments expressed in Don’t Panic have easily carried on to today. Alex Gaskarth said it best when he stated “We’re not kids anymore and I think the content is maturing with us as our fans do too.” This has proved to be an incredible start to the new year for All Time Low, and the band is clearly taking the advice of Don’t Panic! to heart as they conquer the world.
