On November 8, a wild fire began spreading rapidly through Los Angeles, California causing 23 confirmed deaths. According to PBS News, more than 200 people have been deemed missing. Firemen are struggling to get the blaze under control, and California Governor Jerry brown has put in a request for a “major disaster declaration” from the president, as this would increase emergency assistance. The flames are still spreading, ushered onward by heavy winds. Tension among locals is rising, as people demand answers regarding whether their homes are still standing.
