Fall is officially here! It is time to grab a sweatshirt, grab your favorite cup of coffee, and take in the aroma of the autumn season. Now is the time to get cozy on the couch and watch the latest shows and movies that bring out the season. Many films depict the loving feeling of fall and there are amazing TV shows you just need to watch around this time of year. Above all, no one wants to miss the latest releases coming this fall!
To begin, it’s time to binge watch all of the favorite fall classics. There are so many kinds of films that are amazing to watch around this time of year. The horror genre, for instance, is twice as scary when October rolls around. Get a fright with films such as The Exorcist, Get Out, It Follows, and more! Horror is not the only choice. Instead of a scare, you could get a laugh. There are many comedies that bring in the feeling of the changing weather, like Little Shop of Horrors, An American Werewolf in London, and The Lost Boys. Additionally, there is always room for romance in the fall. There are films that capture the cozy, loving feeling of autumn that include You’ve got Mail, Moonstruck, and When Harry Met Sally.
Films can be entertaining; however, there is even more variety that comes with TV shows. So much can be seen with such a small screen. To kick things off, get ready for fall football games with Friday Night Lights. After the touchdown, get whisked away on a spellbinding journey with the Halliwell sisters in Charmed. The journey of magic doesn’t stop there. I recommend seeing witches like Rowan Fielding in the Mayfair Witches and Sabrina: The Teenage Witch in action. After all the excitement, make sure to grab a coffee with friends at Central Perk or Stars Hollow for a nice rewatch of Friends and Gilmore Girls. Other notable titles for the season include Midnight Mass, Virgin River, and The Walking Dead.
Finally, be prepared to scream for all the frightful, engaging, and amazing new content coming your way this season! So far, September and October have made quite the impression. Several new TV shows launched during September, including Agatha All Along, which premiered September 18th and The Penguin on September 19th. Both of these shows have been getting outstanding praise. Several shows have been making returns as well with new seasons of Heart Stopper, From, Outer Banks, and Dancing with the Stars have all returned. The fun does not stop there. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has been a huge success and is now available to watch at home. On top of that, get ready for a stream of new movies to mark your calendars for. These films include a last run with Venom: The Last Dance, which comes out October 25th. It’ll be time to defy gravity with Wicked, on November 22nd, and we’ll return to the arena with Gladiator 2 on November 24th.
There is no time to waste! Consider a fall movie or TV show choice to watch as you sip coffee and sit by the fire.
