During Halloween there will always be a trend among costumes. This year like every other there will be overused costumes. Here are the ones we think have outstayed their welcome.

The number 1 most popular, common, and overused costume this year is Barbie. Due to the new Barbie movie, this costume has seen a shocking usage. Whether at parties or other events, Barbie has made too many appearances.

In close second is Spiderman. Spiderman has seen a resurgence in popularity due to the new movie Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse. This costume is popular among young kids and fans of the movie, which there are a lot of.

Lastly, in third following the trend of hit movies, Wednesday Addams is the last overused costume of 2023. This costume is also popular among younger girls and other fans of the new Wednesday show that came out about a year ago.
