With only six games this season, South’s student section, or “the nation,” has still proven to be just as powerful as it was last year. Home or away, rain or shine, the student section is consistently packed with students dressed up to celebrate the game. So far this season, the themes have been white, neon, USA, pajama, purple, and Hawaiian. The themes are selected by a group of seniors who are known as the “Nation Leaders.” They select the chants, themes, and everything else in between. This season, our nation has been more packed and proud than ever before. The bad weather and lack of home games have not stopped the avid football supporters. From the very first row to the back of the bleachers, MHSS students show up to support our Eagles.
