In February, New Jersey enacted a bill named “AB 15,” which will gradually increase the minimum wage to $15 by the year 2024. With this, the minimum wage for tipped employees will also increase to $9.87 over the same time period. As of 2021, the minimum wage has increased to $12, keeping the plan on track.
