After finding out her boyfriend Mark is cheating, big time lawyer Carly Whitten tries to get her life in order and forget about the past. This plan comes crashing down when she meets the wife he had been cheating on. After countless attempts to push her away, the two find out they have a lot in common and become friends fast. But after the pair discover another affair among them, all three women team up to take down the man that broke their hearts.

The Other Woman is one of the funniest movies I have seen all year. Absolutely no one can complain that this movie isn’t full of laughs. Performances by Cameron Diaz, and Leslie Mann were pretty awesome. The pair really made you hate Mark just as much as they did. Some would argue that they were looking for something a little more romantic, but it is meant to be the way it is; a story of revenge (and a funny one at that). The girls’ pranks in the movie vary from something as simple as putting Mark’s toothbrush in the toilet, to something as complex as replacing his shampoo with nair. The girls even go as far as to take a trip to the Bahamas to spy on him. The comedic air to the movie definitely overcomes any complaint regarding the plot.
