On Wednesday October 7, fans voted Middletown South senior Tom Coffey “The Best Receiver in the Shore Conference.”

The announcement appears on highschoolsports.nj.com. Joe Zedalis reports that Coffey received 15,470 of the 38,444 total votes cast. Crosstown rival Brendan Kube of Middletown North was second with 10,723 votes.

Coffey has five catches for the Eagles, who are ranked No. 4 in the state by NJ.com. Coffey has 79 receiving yards and two touchdowns so far this fall for unbeaten Middletown South.
