On Monday June 20th Middletown South’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will be holding the second annual Food Truck Fest. There will be more than twenty food trucks operating at the event, offering  a variety of delicious favorites. Popular ethnic dishes, barbecue, seafood, vegan specialities, and scrumptious desserts will be on tap for the event. To accompany the diverse food options, entertainment is also a key part of this year’s Food Truck Fest. Laser tag, video games on The Rolling Game Truck, and live music will also be featured, adding to the “Festive” atmosphere. Most of the preparation leading up to the Food Truck Fest was directed by Ms. Gregory and the members of Middletown South’s FBLA. Fanoula Dimarhos was head of the marketing committee, which was in charge of setting up advertisements around town, and creating posters. Zach Schild is in charge of getting sponsors for the event, Nikki Nybro and Raisa Forte led the entertainment committee, given the task of setting up the dj, laser tag, and live music. Alexandra Balsamo and Kristen Hebbe had the responsibility of contacting the food trucks and arranging locations. As Food Truck Fest Chairman, Tara Ferejohn was responsible for overseeing all of the logistics for the event and making sure all the committees are on task.
