Mason Jar Recipes and Treats

First, purchase a glass mason jar in the closest A.C. Moore or Michael’s. Fill the                       mason jar with any favorite dry snack mix or any dry recipe in layers such as pancake mix and chocolate chips or hot cocoa mix and marshmallows. You can add to the fun by making homemade labels that include special messages to friends, family or neighbors. You can also list ingredients for homes that may have food allergies. It is the perfect way to store and give tasty treats festively!

DIY Up-cycled Hanukkah Menorah

All you will need for this are ten small jars, blue food coloring, glue, silver spray paint, candles, water, and a spoon for stirring. Start by spray painting all the jar lids silver. Then arrange eight of the jars upside down on your painting surface. Spray the paint from the bottom up, so that it is completely covered on the bottom. Then spray paint the last two jars completely silver. Fill the jars with warm water and then place a few drops of blue food coloring inside the jars. Apply glue around the rims of the jars. Secure the lids onto the jars. Arrange the jars into menorah, then place candles on the lids of the jar.
