20 Red Velvet Oreos (36 in a regular sized package)

6 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)

2 cups of milk chocolate chips

red / pink / white sprinkles for decoration

  1. In a food processor, crush the Oreos into fine crumbs. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add 1 pack of cream cheese. Combine until smooth.
  2. Form the mixture into 30 balls of equal size and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or tin foil. Freeze the truffles for 30 minutes.
  3. Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds and stir. Continue to microwave at 15 second intervals until completely melted. Remove the truffles from the freezer and dip one in the chocolate, turning to coat completely. Repeat with the remaining truffles until all are coated in chocolate.
  4. Return the truffles to the baking sheet and cover in red, pink, or white sprinkles as desired.
  5. Allow the chocolate to harden. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, and enjoy!
